Frequently asked questions

Can I register my company at this address?
Yes, as your head office (or branch) address. You or your judicial scrivener file the registration.
Can I sign up before my company is registered?
Yes, you can. Sign as an individual before incorporation, and you can switch the contract to the company once it is registered.
Can I use it to open a Japanese bank account?
That depends on each bank's screening. We cannot guarantee an account. We provide the contract documents banks typically ask for.
How do I cancel?
There is no minimum term. Your contract continues for as long as our address is registered as your company's address. Cancellation takes effect once the head-office relocation, or the dissolution or closure of the company, has been registered. After completion, please upload a certificate of registered matters or similar proof online.
What happens to my mail?
Our staff receive it and forward it in a monthly batch (standard). Arrival notice, scanning and weekly forwarding are options.
Can several companies use one contract?
One company per contract. If you have several companies, please contract for each one.
Can you forward mail overseas?
Yes, as an option. Overseas forwarding is once a month, with postage at cost.
Can I put the address on my website and business cards?
Yes. You can use it on your website, business cards and invoices.
Can a foreign company sign up?
Yes. The address can be used for a foreign company's Japan branch registration, or as the head office of a Japanese company (KK or GK) founded by a non-resident. Please contact us for the required documents.
When do I learn the street number and building name?
Once screening is complete, we share them when you sign the contract. If you need to check something before signing, please contact us.
Are any industries excluded?
Yes. Businesses whose licence requires a physical office, such as second-hand dealers, staffing and recruitment agencies, real estate brokers and money lenders, and crypto-asset exchanges cannot use the service. Funds and asset-holding companies are welcome, subject to screening. The full list is in Article 15 of our Terms (Japanese).
